Map of Potters Bar

Map courtesy of

Directions from London

Follow the A1000 via High Barnet - make sure that you pass St John’s Church on your left as you pass through High Barnet. Follow the A1000 through Monken Hadley and under the M25 until you reach the traffic lights (Canada Life building across the road on your left - marked as “offices” on the above map). Proceed straight across the lights and take the first turning on the left into The Walk and St Mary’s is immediately on the left.

Directions from the North

Follow the A1000 south towards Potters Bar. Once in Potters Bar proceed past the bus station on your right and the Oakmere public house on your left. Take the next right into The Walk and St Mary’s is immediately on the left.

Directions from the M25

Take exit 24 and follow the signs to Potters Bar. At the first set of traffic lights (Canada Life building across the road on your right - marked as “offices” on the above map) turn right into the High Street. Take the first turning on the left into The Walk and St Mary’s is immediately on the left.

Directions from the railway station

St Mary’s is about half a mile from the railway station (but it is a bit of an up-hill climb!). Potters Bar is on the WAGN service from Kings Cross and Moorgate (certain times only). Exit the station into Darkes Lane and cross by the nearby pedestrian crossing. Turn up The Walk (next to Barclays Bank). St Mary’s is at the end of The Walk, on your right.
