If you're new to St Mary's we hope you will feel welcome. Please make yourself known to one of the welcomers or to the Vicar. Please do ask anyone for help if there is anything you need.

What can I expect?

At St Mary's you can expect a warm welcome. We have services on Sunday at 8am (said Communion - traditional language), 10am (sung Communion - contemporary language) and 5pm (Evensong - traditional language - second and fourth Sundays). Our 10am service is the most visitor friendly but you will be welcome at any of these service.

Are children welcome?

Yes! Children are welcome at all our services. Our 10am service usually has a Junior Church which would be glad to welcome your child / children. To comply with safeguarding requirements we ask that one parent / guardian attends Junior Church with their child / children.

Do I have to give money?

No. Whether you feel moved to give money or not, and how much you give, is between you and God. There is a plate at our 10am service whch you are welcome to contribute to and we have a card machine at the back of church if you want to give electronically.

You can donate via credit / debit card via the donate link below:

Note that Give a Little, which provides this service, takes a small percentage of the donation for itself as a way of funding this service.

How long do the services last?

The 8am service lasts for around 40 minutes. The 10am lasts for around an hour. The 5pm service lasts for around 45 minutes.
